Marion Cotillard – Dior’s new designer

The French actress, Marion Cotillard, has signed with Christian Dior to design her own handbag for the Lady Dior collection. It’s quite a turn, moving from great movies like Inception, La vie en rose, Love me if you dare, Midnight in Paris and The Dark Knight Rises to designing, and not for any design house, but for the famous Christian Dior.

The beautiful and talented actress will add her personal touch to the Lady Dior bag collection. To be honest, we couldn’t think of anyone more appropriate for this, as Marion has been wearing Dior for years now. We rarely see her wearing anything else on the red carpet actually. She has been unofficially considered to be the face of Dior since 2008, so the invitation to design her own model came naturally.

She is currently the face of the Lady Dior bags collection. Dior recently released a behind-the-scenes video where she promotes and discusses her 360 Degree Bag. She claims to be undecided, hovering between a simple design and a rock and roll one.

The 37-year-old beautiful brunette also talks about her favorite fabrics in the video, stating that she particularly likes monochrome houndstooth and velvet. Let us know what you think.
